Mimi Leveque is the conservator of objects at the Peabody Essex Museum. She also teaches conservation at Boston College and the Rhode Island School of Design. Over the past three decades, she has worked at a number of museums including the Museum of Fine Arts and the Rhode Island School of Design Museum. She has done archaeological field conservation in such far-flung places as Iran, Pakistan, Syria, Italy, Peru and England.
